Rayna Newcomb

1. What’s your year and major?
Sophomore, Medical Laboratory Science

2. How long have you been a member of TTS? What’s your best experience so far?
Two semesters, enjoying time with everyone at Halcyon for smores!

3. What’s one thing people would be most surprised to learn about you?
I am left handed and have a fraternal twin brother. (Don't worry I'm older)

4. What’s one thing you want to do in Austin before graduating?
I want to have hiked every spot imaginable at least once.

5. If you had any advice for new transfers, what would it be?
Don't be intimidated by your new classmates (I know there's a lot now)! Everyone is here having fun and we all want to make connections and lasting friendships, so a simple "hello" can take you farther than you would imagine! 🙂

Ana Silverio

1. What’s your year and major?
I’m a junior and I’m majoring in Marine and Freshwater Science

2. How long have you been a member of TTS? What’s your best experience so far?
I just became a member this semester and my best experience has definitely been going to mini golf with everyone. It was so much fun!!

3. What’s one thing people would be most surprised to learn about you?
I have the first 46 numbers of Pi memorized for no reason #nerd

4. What’s one thing you want to do in Austin before graduating?
I want to spend more time in the art/music scene around the city, Austin has such a diverse culture that is so inviting!

5. What are some of your favorite places in Austin?
Zilker, the Barton Creek belt, and Mount Bonnell make my heart sing

6. If you have any advice for new transfers, what would it be?
Definitely don’t be afraid to try new things!! I’m usually very introverted but coming to a big school like UT, I knew I was going to have to come out of my shell a little more but I’m so happy I did!! The friends I’ve made so far have been such a blessing and makes the transition so much better! Keep a positive outlook with everyone you meet!!
